Dave began his decades-long journey in hospitality shortly after completing his service in the United States Marine Corps. As he considered his next steps after four years in the Corps, hospitality felt like the natural fit—offering a fresh direction compared to a potential career in law enforcement, which seemed a little too soon after his military experience.
A Florida native, Dave launched his hospitality career with major brands across South Florida, learning the business from the ground up. When the opportunity arose to join the New England market, he embraced the change and relocated to Maine—a move that eventually became permanent as he built a life there with his wife, Reeta, and his daughter, Maya.
Outside of work, Dave enjoys spending time on his pontoon boat exploring local lakes in search of bass, tackling home improvement projects, or cooking gourmet meals. Although he’ll quickly say he prefers dogs, his family—and his dogs—know the family cat has him wrapped around its little paw. Above all, Dave is happiest simply being with his family, whether they’re enjoying a quiet movie night at home or rocking out at a Def Leppard concert in Las Vegas

Michelle is originally from Michigan and made the permanent move to Maine after a summer internship in college. She has worked in the service industry for over 20 years - starting in restaurants and moving to hotels where she eventually worked up to Hotel Manager. Michelle knew her calling was to support the associates who work in hotels, and made her transition into HR, here, at The Westin Portland Harborview.
In her free time, Michelle loves to be with her family and spending time outside, especially in the garden. She and her husband, Alex, enjoy beach days with their kiddos, Charlie and Lucy, and exploring Maine when they can with their Aussie Shepard, Raphael.
